Betrayal
Trust In God
How often do you listen to gossip, wanting to believe things about others that aren’t true?
Our fallen human nature will cause us to behave this way, which is true.
The power of misinformation is very misleading.
Treating misinformation as accurate is very deceiving.
Gossiping about someone is so enticing, especially over a meal.
It can feel so good, and this is real.
Believing things about someone that isn’t true can become surreal.
God has given your life purpose no matter what others say and think about you.
It does not matter to Him if what they say and think may not be accurate or the truth.
What God thinks is what is important because it matters.
Gossip may taste good to those who want to listen when it is served on a silver platter;
However, God has a way of preventing gossip or misinformation about someone’s life from being shattered.
A THOUGHT TO REFLECT ON
“The Words of a gossip are like choice morsels.” Proverbs 18:8

May 7, 2023 at 2:21 pmGossip is centered in the hearts of people. When we share be careful that your heart is sharing for the right reasons. It’s two different spirits behind sharing a hurt or need verses the spirit behind a gossiping heart seeking to do harm to others.
