Ecclesiastes 1:1-11

Worldly living is meaningless.
When life has little or no purpose, it is not blessed.
What can you show from years of work? No one knows.
From the sun’s rising to its setting, generations accomplish what they can.
When the next generation comes, they will forget what was done by the previous generation’s plan.
The sea never gets full, and the eye will never see all there is to see.
The ear never gets tired of listening, even to the sea.
The sun rises, and the sun sets with each new day.
The is nothing new occurring, the sun will say.
Life goes on as it has always been.
People still find a reason to go against God and sin.
Finding joy and contentment in life is like sharing it with a friend.
