Sin

1 Samuel 25:1–12

Oh, when sin has a hold of me;

I will do foolish things that are irrational, illogical, and unreasonable completely.

Stubbornness and recklessness would describe my way of life.

For others, it made their life difficult because I did not treat them right.

I was concerned with no one but me.

This is not how life is supposed to be.

Lord, I want You to change my ways.

I do not want to live like this another day.

I want to repent; this I pray.

I do not want sin to have a hold of me.

Of sin, I want to be set free.

Show me how to make my wrongs right;

My desire is to be guided by Your spiritual insight.
