Living Like Christ

Psalm 34:11–18

If I spoke like Jesus, what would I say?

If I spoke like Jesus, God, I would always pray and be willing to obey.

If I behaved like Jesus, I would love life and desire to see many good days.

Then my behavior should continue always to be this way.

If I thought like Jesus, evil would have no part of me.

I would do good in seeking peace. I would pursue it until eternity.

God, to speak and behave like Jesus, on my mouth I need a muzzle.

This will prevent me from saying those things that will confuse and leave people feeling puzzled.

God hears when I cry.

He listens to what my tears are saying.

He will answer me without delay.
