Rest for your soul; what do you do?
How can you get rest for your soul when it is overdue?
Resting from the ups and downs of life is a longing we all desire to possess.
How do we find rest when we look in all the wrong places
to be blessed?
There is only one place we need to look, especially when our life is a hot mess.
That place is God and His Word that tells us He is there, ready to show us proper rest.
He will give us rest from our weary and burdensome life that cause us to be stressed.
We all need to learn the ways of Jesus Christ, who is “gentle and humble in heart” (Matthew 11:29).
When we are tempted to seek satisfaction and joy to find rest in the wrong places, Jesus Christ is where we should start.
To find proper rest is only in Jesus Christ.
