Living Like Christ
How does a believer love their neighbor?
When you truly need to identify with their pain, it is an effort of much labor.
How do you come alongside them when they are broken?
You can’t fix them are words that need to be spoken.
What do you do when they are hurting? Do you try to take away their pain?
This thought doesn’t need to be entertained.
Don’t try to attempt this; you can’t.
Your efforts would be limited or scant.
How do you love them? What do you do?
You can walk alongside them, ensuring your love is true.
You are letting them know they are not alone.
You are walking with them and Jesus, who sits on His throne.
He knows what it means to be in pain.
When Jesus comes alongside you, you won’t be the same.
How do you love your neighbor? What do you do?
You love them with the love of Jesus, a love that is true.
How are you learning to be a loving friend?
A THOUGHT TO REFLECT ON
How can we begin to repay if we are forever in debt to Christ for the love He willingly poured on us? By sharing His love with others. When we voluntarily share His love, it changes lives.
