Suffering
“We also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.” (Romans 5:3-4)
What does this mean? How will this help me in my suffering to cope?
How does life’s suffering help me to live for Christ?
Conforming to the image of Christ is about learning about His sacrifice.
You learn to depend on Jesus through prayer to make it through the day.
It is persevering and rejoicing in your suffering that you will be able to say.
Because your faith in Christ has become unshakeable with confidence in Him and to give Him praise;
Christ will not abandon you; He will stay at your side.
He walks with you through your struggles and into the future to help you thrive.
Your suffering helps you to grow in Christ.
It will teach you how to live life.
It develops your character as you persevere and experience God’s love for you.
It gives you hope to have faith to know God’s word and that His love for you is true.
How has your suffering brought your need for Christ?
