Persecution

2 Corinthians 1:8-11

Persecution has made itself known.

Once, the faith of those who dare to believe in Christ has been shown.

Those who are being persecuted, you must pray.

Pray for their deliverance and safety each day.

Pray for their deliverance from being marginalized, oppressed, beaten, tortured, and even killed.

Because their faith in Jesus Christ is very real;

You must have hope that Jesus will be there. 

For Him, this is about a love affair.

Experiencing God’s presence and faithfulness while going through persecution;

He will be there because He cares.

Praying may seem like doing little to help someone in need.

Prayer is powerful when you need to plea

It is sending an SOS at God’s speed.

A THOUGHT TO REFLECT ON

Praying for those who are persecuted is sending an SOS to God.

Father, I pray that You would be a refuge for those persecuted.

You are a shelter for the oppressed, refuge in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O LORD, do not abandon those who search for you. Psalm 9:9-10
