JESUS THE CHRIST, MESSIAH, AND SAVIOR
Mark 14:32–39
Jesus fell, and with intense prayer, He poured out His heart that day.
His spirit, soul, body, and mind were in anguish as he prayed.
Those first crushing hours bathed in the suffering of distress and agony beyond belief.
He was preparing Himself before His Father to undertake the sin of the world, and there was only grief.
The extreme suffering arose from physical, mental, and emotional anguish with no relief.
The agony and suffering pressed down on Him as an olive press.
It caused His sweat to be like drops of blood from distress.
He endured the pain as it crushed Him for my sin.
It was pain that continued until His life came to an end.
It was punishment He bore for how I have lived my life.
It was during the time of prayer of my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
I do not understand all that Jesus has done for me.
Father God, please help me to appreciate the depth of this love for eternity.
A THOUGHT TO REFLECT ON
Gethsemane is Hebrew for oil press; this is what sin did to Jesus as He prayed at Gethsemane—my sin was pressing life from Him.

April 6, 2023 at 4:16 amIt’s so hard to imagine the pain of my sin and how heavy it was; when I have. Pain in my body it’s sometimes A sharp unbearable pinching nerve pain; but it’s nothing to the pain my Savior bore on the cross; I ask for Gods help bearing my burdens while I encourage someone else in the faith who may have a more difficult burden to bear; praise God for grace and mercy!

April 6, 2023 at 5:15 amThank you Sister Stella, for providing this moment to reflect on our Precious Lord, Jesus Christ, The Most Meaningful Life in ALL of history! It is stunning to think about His Agony in Gethsemane in such a personal way…knowing that it was MY sin that hurt Him so, makes my heart hurt too! The Depth of His Courage on my behalf is so Noble that it continually deepens my admiration and love for Him.
How much does He Love me? It’s definitely Much More than I can comprehend, and certainly Much More than I could ever deserve…but, Ohhh how Blessed I am to have received my Salvation in Christ, this Eternal Gift of His Love!
