Proverbs 27:5–10

 Love will feel like a wound when it comes from a friend. 

Wounds from a friend can and will feel like sin.

When they tell us things that we need to hear;

They are doing this because their love for us is very dear.

They will also tell us the things that we like to hear.

When a friendship is based on honesty,

It is making love a reality.

The pain is benefiting you with the truth;

It is how God is to have a relationship with you.

Love without truth, what will it do?

Truth without love—is this what you need during times of trouble to make it through?

Remember the wounds from a friend;

These are not wounds that are caused by sin.

Wounds from a friend are needed in life to experience truth in love.
