Suffering
James 1:2–4

During times of suffering, be at rest;
God is working, and He will do His very best.
While you face trials, He will give you His love and His grace,
Enabling you to endure the challenges that you face.
In each trial there, are blessings with lessons to learn in trusting God with belief;
He will bring you out of each trial, and you will find relief.
God is always in control of what is happening to you;
Instant solutions and quick fixes will not do.
During times of suffering, there are things you must accept and receive.
God is good, loving, and is gracious; during times of trials and suffering, you must believe.

A THOUGHT TO REFLECT ON
Only God can bring true comfort during times of suffering.

PRAYER

Father, please hear my cry for help during this time of suffering in this trial. It feels like my life is ebbing away. I thank you for not only listening to me, responding to my prayer request. Amen.
