God’s Love
Sin
My Father allowed me to have what my heart craved.
When I got what I wanted, I badly misbehaved.
When I gave in to my desires, I became enslaved.
My sinful desires did me in.
It caused me to sin.
I must confess; my life was a mess.
I repented of my shame.
Then I called out Jesus’ name.
He has forgiven me for what I had done.
I am grateful to be loved and forgiven by God’s holy Son.
A THOUGHT TO REFLECT ON
Knowing you are forgiven of your sins causes you to live differently.
